Care Rhythm Privacy Policy

Care Rhythm stores your recurring tasks and history on your iPhone. The app has no Banana Apps account, backend, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, tracking, crash-reporting SDK, or third-party software package. The app does not send task data to Banana Apps.

This policy covers the Care Rhythm iPhone app. Visits to this website are covered by the Website Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Apple services, including device backup and notification delivery, are governed by Apple’s policies and your device settings.

Care Rhythm processes and stores:

• task titles and optional notes;
• recurrence rules, due dates, reminder preferences, and pause state;
• completed and skipped occurrence history with timestamps; and
• app-generated identifiers used to connect local records.

This information is used only to show, schedule, update, and preserve your recurring care tasks on your device.

Care Rhythm does not automatically transmit task content, schedules, history, identifiers, usage events, diagnostics, or notification settings to Banana Apps or another company.

The app does not collect contact information, location, health data, financial information, payment information, contacts, photos, audio, or advertising identifiers.

If you enable Remind Me, Care Rhythm asks iOS for notification permission and schedules a local notification on your device. There is no push token, notification server, or remote campaign provider.

The notification says “A care task is due.” It does not include your task title or notes. Notification previews, sounds, Focus behavior, and delivery are controlled by Apple and your device settings.

Care Rhythm has no account or authentication system. It does not include analytics, advertising, attribution, cross-app tracking, generative AI, subscriptions, trials, purchases, or payment processing.

Care Rhythm does not operate a cloud backup service. Apple may include app data in a device or iCloud backup according to your Apple settings and Apple’s policies. Banana Apps cannot view, restore, or delete those Apple-controlled backup copies.

A task and its history remain on your device until you delete the task or remove the app. Deleting a task removes that task, its stored history, and its pending local notification from the active app data.

Uninstalling Care Rhythm removes its active local container from that device. It does not necessarily remove data retained in an Apple-controlled backup.

If you email team@getbananaapps.com, Banana Apps and its email provider receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, name, message, device details, and attachments. This happens outside Care Rhythm; the app does not send support data automatically.

Support communications are used to answer your request and maintain necessary business, security, or legal records. Do not send private task details or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for your question.

Banana Apps does not sell Care Rhythm app data, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or disclose it to data brokers because the app does not send that data to Banana Apps.

Support email may be processed by the email provider used to deliver and store your voluntary message.

Care Rhythm relies on the standard iOS app sandbox and Apple’s platform protections for local app data. We use reasonable safeguards for information we receive through support. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security.

If Care Rhythm’s data practices change, we will update this policy and the Last Updated date. We will also update App Store privacy disclosures when required.
