If the app is misbehaving, try in this order: fully quit and reopen, restart the device, install any pending app or iOS update, and check that you have free device storage.

The scientific calculator supports degree and radian modes. If sin(90) returns roughly 0.8939, you are in radians; switch to degrees. If sin(π/2) returns near 0.0274, you are in degrees; switch to radians.

The offline symbolic solver covers arithmetic, linear and quadratic equations, systems, linear inequalities, simplification, differentiation, and integration. Some expressions, forms, and edge cases are not supported and will not return a step-by-step solution. Rewriting the expression, checking parentheses, and simplifying constants often helps.

Graphs and formulas are backed by deterministic offline libraries; we do not call it "AI."

Individual calculations, saved graphs, formula favorites, and workspaces can be deleted individually inside the app.

Clear All Calculations removes calculation history and the notes, tags, pins, saved solution steps, and workspace links attached to those calculations. It does not remove workspaces, saved graphs, formula favorites, preferences, MetricKit diagnostics, temporary files, recovery archives, or the legacy saved-graph key. Delete those individually.

Deleting a workspace detaches its calculations and graphs rather than deleting them.

If the local database becomes unreadable, the app can archive the unreadable store and start a fresh one after you explicitly confirm. Archive-and-reset starts a fresh store and does not automatically restore your archived data. If you rely on archived recovery data, contact [email protected] before continuing.

You can export a local MetricKit diagnostics JSON through the Apple share sheet. The file contains iOS-provided performance and diagnostic payloads about how the app ran on your device. You choose where the file goes; once shared, the destination provider applies its own terms.

The current app has no account, login, password, purchase, restore-purchase, refund, subscription, or account-deletion process. If someone asks you for one of these to "unlock" HS & College Calculator, it is not us.
