Flowly Privacy Policy

Flowly is a free, accountless, local-first yoga habit app. Your preferences, completed practices, custom flows, resume state, reminder settings, and notification permission state are handled on your device. Banana Apps does not receive them and does not use them for analytics, advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking. Flowly has no account, no backend, no cloud sync, no ads, no attribution, no AI, and no remote analytics or crash reporter.

The following categories are processed on your device and are not sent to Banana Apps:

• Onboarding-completed state
• Preferred goal (Morning, Energy, Flexibility, Wind Down, or Sleep)
• Experience level (beginner, regular, or experienced)
• Voice-guidance, haptics, and keep-screen-awake preferences
• Local reminder enabled state and hour/minute
• Notification permission state returned by iOS
• Completed-practice history (app-generated UUID, flow title, goal, elapsed whole minutes, completion date)
• Custom flows (app-generated UUID, user-entered title, goal, creation date, selected poses, durations, cue content, modification content, safety notes, illustration references) in SwiftData
• Interrupted-practice state (complete flow, pose index, remaining seconds, elapsed seconds, saved date) in UserDefaults — expires after seven days
• Optional JSON export (export timestamp, preferences, completed sessions, custom flows) written on your action to the destination you choose

Each category exists to run the app: preferences drive today's recommendation and playback behavior, completed practices power your history and streaks, custom flows persist routines you created, resume state lets you pick up an interrupted practice, and the reminder/permission state controls whether a local reminder can be scheduled. These local categories are not used for analytics, advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.

Flowly does not create an account, does not require sign-in, and does not sign in with Apple, Google, email, or any other provider. There is no server-side profile.

The app does not automatically transmit your practice data, custom flows, preferences, resume state, or reminder settings to Banana Apps or to a third party.

Flowly does not include an analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, advertising SDK, attribution SDK, App Tracking Transparency prompt, in-app purchase, subscription, trial, credit, paywall, generative AI, or remote content backend. Flowly does not create or use advertising or device identifiers for tracking.

The optional daily practice reminder is scheduled and delivered by Apple UserNotifications on your device after you grant iOS notification permission. There is no push token, no notification server, and no remote campaign provider. Notification alerts and sounds can appear on your lock screen according to your device notification settings; anyone with access to your unlocked or previewable screen may see them.

Spoken cues, when enabled, use Apple's on-device speech synthesis. Flowly does not request microphone access and does not perform speech recognition.

You can create a JSON export from You. The exported file contains an export timestamp, your preferences, your completed sessions, and your custom flows. Flowly hands the file to Apple's system file exporter, and you choose the destination. Once you save or send that file, it is your responsibility — the destination service, recipient, cloud account, or backup you chose receives it under its own terms and privacy practices. Banana Apps does not receive or retain a copy of the export.

Export is not a backup or restore mechanism. Flowly does not currently support importing or restoring from an exported file.

If you email [email protected], Banana Apps and our email provider may receive your email address and name, the message content, and any device information, screenshots, or files you voluntarily attach. This support channel exists outside the app; the app does not send anything on your behalf.

Support-email retention and deletion process: support email is retained for up to 24 months and deleted on verified request.

Banana Apps does not share app-side data with third parties in the audited version, because Banana Apps does not receive it. Exported files go only where you choose. Support emails may be processed by our email provider.

Flowly relies on the following platform services:

• Apple — iOS/iPadOS operating system, local storage (SwiftData, UserDefaults), UserNotifications for the optional local reminder, on-device speech synthesis for spoken cues, and the system file exporter used for JSON export. No Banana Apps account is created.
• Email providers — If you email Banana Apps for support, your message is stored by our email provider. support email is retained for up to 24 months and deleted on verified request

Flowly relies on the standard iOS app sandbox and platform controls Apple provides. We use reasonable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not guarantee security.

Preferences, completed practice sessions, and custom flows remain on your device until you change them, individually delete them where the app supports it, or remove Flowly's app data.

Resume state for an interrupted practice expires seven days after it was saved, is cleared automatically after you successfully complete that practice, and can be discarded manually from Today.

A pending local reminder remains scheduled until you disable it in Flowly, revoke notification permission in iOS Settings, or remove the app.

Exported JSON files remain wherever you chose to save or send them. Flowly does not currently mark its database and settings as excluded from device backup, so app data may also exist in device or iCloud backups you have configured; those copies are controlled by Apple and your Apple settings. Uninstalling Flowly removes the active app container from that device, but does not necessarily remove backups or previously exported copies.

Support-email retention: support email is retained for up to 24 months and deleted on verified request.

Minimum age: ages 13 and up. Whether Flowly is offered to minors: Flowly is available to users 13 and older; minors should use the app only with parental or guardian consent. We do not claim COPPA, GDPR-K, or other children's-privacy compliance without qualified legal review.

App data is not sent to Banana Apps, so no international transfer occurs for that data. Support communications and website visits may involve providers and locations that must be confirmed; see the Website Privacy Policy.

Fixed effective and last-updated dates are shown at the top of this page. Material changes may be described through the updated page or, where appropriate, an App Store update. Flowly does not currently include an in-app policy-change notice mechanism.
