Flowly Privacy Choices
Flowly is local-first and has no account, so most privacy choices live on your device. This page lists the controls Flowly actually provides today, and is honest about what is not available.
In-app settings you control
- Change your goal (Morning, Energy, Flexibility, Wind Down, or Sleep) in You.
- Change your experience level (beginner, regular, or experienced) in You.
- Toggle spoken guidance, haptics, and keep-screen-awake in You.
Reminders and notification permission
Enable, disable, or change the time of the optional daily practice reminder in Flowly. Revoke notification permission entirely in iOS Settings → Notifications → Flowly. Reminders are scheduled and delivered by Apple UserNotifications on your device.
Interrupted-practice state
Discard a saved interrupted practice from Today. Interrupted state also expires automatically seven days after it was saved, and is cleared when you complete that practice.
Custom flows
Edit or individually delete custom flows in You. A deleted custom flow is removed from your device.
Export your data as JSON
From You, create a JSON export containing an export timestamp, your preferences, your completed sessions, and your custom flows. You choose the destination through Apple's system file exporter. Banana Apps does not receive or retain a copy.
Current limit: completed sessions
Flowly does not currently include an in-app control to individually delete or clear completed practice sessions. You can remove all of Flowly's active local data by uninstalling the app.
Uninstalling and device backups
Removing Flowly from a device removes the active app container from that device. Any exported files you previously saved elsewhere, and any device or iCloud backups you have configured, are outside Flowly and may retain earlier copies of app data.
No server account or profile
Flowly does not create an account and does not maintain a server-side profile of you, so there is nothing on our servers to sign into, transfer, or delete.
What Banana Apps can and cannot do
Because your practice data, custom flows, preferences, resume state, and reminder settings never leave your device through Flowly, Banana Apps cannot remotely access, correct, or delete that information for you.
If you email [email protected], we can respond to questions about company-held support communications, and to applicable privacy rights where they apply. Support-email retention and deletion process: support email is retained for up to 24 months and deleted on verified request.
We will never ask you for account passwords, payment-card information, government IDs, or other unnecessary sensitive data in support emails.
