Flowly Support

Flowly is a private, local-first yoga habit app for iPhone and iPad. It has no account, no login, no subscription, and no purchases, so this page focuses on how the app works and what to do if something isn't working.

Onboarding and Today's recommendation

The first time you open Flowly, onboarding asks for your goal (Morning, Energy, Flexibility, Wind Down, or Sleep) and experience level (beginner, regular, or experienced). Today then recommends one guided practice that matches those choices. You can change goal and experience anytime in You.

02

Starting, pausing, saving, resuming, replacing, and ending a practice

Start today's recommendation from Today. During a practice you can pause, resume, or end. If you leave mid-practice, Flowly saves your resume state so you can pick up where you left off — including the flow, pose index, elapsed and remaining seconds, and the saved date.

You can replace today's recommendation with another guided flow or one of your custom flows. Ending a practice discards the resume state for that session.

03

Seven-day resume expiration

A saved resume state expires seven days after it was saved. After that, Today will offer a fresh recommendation instead of resuming that specific session.

04

When progress is recorded

Flowly records a completed practice in your local history when you finish a guided session. Each entry stores an app-generated identifier, the flow title, goal, elapsed whole minutes, and the completion date.

05

Custom flows: create, edit, pace, search, and delete

In You, you can build a custom flow with a title, goal, selected poses, per-pose durations, cues, modifications, safety notes, and illustration references. You can search your custom flows, edit any field, and delete an individual custom flow. Deleted custom flows are removed from your device.

06

Reminders and notification permission

Flowly can schedule one optional repeating daily practice reminder at the hour and minute you choose. iOS controls whether notifications can be delivered. If you decline the permission or later revoke it, Flowly cannot schedule the reminder until you re-enable notifications for Flowly in iOS Settings → Notifications.

You can disable the reminder inside Flowly at any time without changing your iOS permission.

07

Spoken guidance, haptics, and keep screen awake

Spoken guidance uses Apple's on-device speech synthesis and can be toggled off. Haptics and keep-screen-awake are independent toggles. All three are in You.

08

JSON export

From You, you can create a JSON export that contains an export timestamp, your preferences, your completed sessions, and your custom flows. Flowly hands the file to Apple's system file exporter and you choose where to save or send it.

Export is not an import or restore backup. Flowly cannot currently read an exported file back in.

09

Local data limitations and device backups

Flowly does not currently include an in-app control to individually delete or clear completed sessions. Custom flows can be edited or individually deleted.

Flowly does not explicitly exclude its database and settings from device backup, so Apple may retain copies of app data in device or iCloud backups you have configured. Uninstalling Flowly removes the active app container from that device but does not necessarily remove backups or previously exported copies.

10

No account or login recovery

Flowly does not create an account and does not sign you in. There is no password reset, no account recovery, and no account-deletion page.

11

No purchases, subscriptions, trials, or refunds

Flowly is free and does not sell subscriptions, trials, credits, or in-app purchases. There is no restore-purchase flow. Any App Store billing question goes through Apple.

Contacting support

Email [email protected]. To help us respond, please include your app version, iOS version, device model, and clear reproduction steps.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card information, government IDs, or other sensitive documents. Please do not send an exported Flowly JSON file unless it is specifically needed to reproduce an issue and you choose to send it. This support channel exists outside the app; the app does not send anything on your behalf.

We do not promise a specific response time.
