01

General wellness only

Flowly provides general yoga and wellness guidance only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, rehabilitation, injury prevention, athletic-training prescription, or emergency care. Flowly is not a substitute for a qualified yoga instructor or a licensed healthcare professional.

02

You choose the practice and the environment

You are responsible for choosing a practice that is appropriate for your body, experience, and current condition, and for practicing in a safe environment. Use a stable, non-slip surface, keep the area clear of hazards, and give yourself enough room in every direction. Choose a practice length and intensity that fits your energy and current health.

03

Stop for concerning symptoms

Stop immediately for pain, dizziness, numbness, tingling, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, joint instability, or any other concerning symptom. Discomfort that persists or worsens is a reason to stop and, if appropriate, seek qualified medical guidance.

04

Use modifications and respect your range of motion

Use modifications, props, and reduced range of motion as needed. Do not force a pose, push through pain, or attempt shapes your body is not currently ready for. Range of motion changes day to day, and a shorter or gentler practice is a valid practice.

05

When to consult a professional

Please consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or continuing a yoga practice if you are pregnant or postpartum, are managing an injury, are recovering from surgery, live with a chronic or cardiovascular condition, or are otherwise uncertain whether yoga is appropriate for you. A qualified in-person yoga instructor can offer individualized adjustments that an app cannot.

06

Emergencies

Flowly cannot detect emergencies, monitor you, notify family or friends, or contact emergency services on your behalf. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services right away.

07

No promise of suitability or approval

We do not promise that any Flowly routine is suitable for every person or every body. The current release includes 14 poses and 10 flows, all of which remain pending qualified professional review; Flowly does not represent this catalog as professionally approved or as a substitute for individualized instruction.
