PDF Homework Scanner Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the app you agree to these Terms and to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Banana Apps LLC operates the app. These Terms apply to the PDF Homework Scanner iOS/iPadOS app only. Visits to getbananaapps.com are governed by that site's own terms and privacy documents.

Minimum age: ages 13 and up. The app is intended for high-school, college, and adult-learning students. Tutors, parents, and educators may also benefit.

The app is licensed, not sold. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app. These Terms supplement, and do not conflict with, the Apple Standard EULA; where a conflict exists on a point Apple requires, the Apple Standard EULA controls on that point.

These Terms are between you and Banana Apps. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app.

PDF Homework Scanner lets you scan pages with Apple VisionKit, import selected photos through Apple PhotosPicker, import selected images and unlocked PDFs through Apple Files, review up to 50 pages per assignment, apply Original, Auto, Black & White, or Grayscale processing, rotate, retake, delete with undo, reorder, add pages, enter an assignment title and optional class, save a generated PDF and thumbnail with local metadata, search saved scans, preview, rename, edit pages, share, export, repair, or delete saved scans, resume one unfinished session after interruption, and share PDFs through Apple's share sheet.

The app does not create Banana Apps accounts. There is no login, password, or profile you register with us.

The current app is free to download and use. It contains no in-app purchases, subscriptions, trials, credits, paywalls, ads, or refund process operated by Banana Apps. If this ever changes we will update these Terms and disclose purchase terms in the app before you pay.

Use the app only in ways that comply with applicable law, your school's policies, and any relevant academic-integrity rules. You are responsible for reviewing page order, readability, filename, destination, and successful submission before relying on a scan.

You own the pages, PDFs, titles, classes, and other content you create in the app. Because Banana Apps does not receive this content, we do not require an operational license to host, display, or distribute it.

If you voluntarily send content to support, you grant Banana Apps only the limited permission needed to review your message and respond to it.

You must have the right to scan, reproduce, and share the documents you process with the app. You are responsible for copyright, privacy, school, and academic-integrity obligations that apply to those documents. When you share a PDF through the share sheet, you choose the recipient; the recipient's terms and privacy practices apply to what happens next.

The app, its interface, code, and other Banana Apps materials are owned by Banana Apps LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

The app relies on Apple frameworks and services (VisionKit, PhotosPicker, Files, PDF rendering, share sheet, local persistence, App Store distribution, and optional device backup). When you share a PDF to another app or person, that destination is a third-party service outside our control.

We may change, update, add, remove, or discontinue features or the app itself. New versions may require newer iOS/iPadOS versions or newer devices. We do not promise continuous availability.

App data is stored locally on your device. Device loss, OS updates, reset flows, uninstall, or storage failures can result in loss of local data. Keep your own backups (for example, by sharing generated PDFs to a destination you control) for work you cannot afford to lose. Banana Apps cannot recover local app data.

The app is a document-scanning utility. It does not review, grade, submit, verify, or authenticate schoolwork. Successful submission of a PDF to your instructor, school portal, or other destination is your responsibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Banana Apps disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Banana Apps is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Exact scope, exclusions, statutory rights, and any monetary cap are subject to attorney review.

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date and, where practical, provide additional notice. Continued use after the update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law, venue, and dispute process: the laws of the State of Florida, with venue in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
