Delete Your Military Veteran Help Account

Military Veteran Help is an iPhone and iPad app operated by Banana Apps LLC. Core use does not require an account. This page explains how to delete an optional cloud account and how to separately reset local data on your device.

In-app cloud account deletion

Open Military Veteran Help and go to Profile → Account & backup → Delete account. Confirm the request (typing DELETE if prompted).

When the deletion Edge Function succeeds, it is intended to delete the authenticated Supabase user and the cloud profile row that stores your allowlisted profile subset (preferred/display name, service branch, service status, service era, service-era tag).

Local records are separate

Deleting your cloud account does not automatically delete local records on your device. To clear local content, go to Profile → Data & privacy → Reset everything.

Deleting the app is not a substitute

Uninstalling the app without deleting the account first does not delete the cloud profile row or the auth user. Request deletion through the in-app path above or email support if you cannot sign in.

Keychain behavior after uninstall

Whether iOS Keychain material persists after uninstall for this app is not yet confirmed. iOS may retain Keychain items after uninstall; reinstalling and signing out clears them

If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete your Banana Apps cloud account. We may ask you to reply from that same email address to confirm.

We will not ask for a password, full payment card details, Social Security number, VA file number, or unnecessary medical information. Do not send those in a support message.

What is not automatically deleted

Cloud account deletion is not promised to remove:

  • Local SwiftData records on your device (use Reset everything above)
  • Local iOS Keychain material (uninstall behavior unconfirmed)
  • Copies of email you have sent to support
  • Provider-side backups, operational logs, or every backup copy — Supabase backups and logs containing your data are purged on their standard rolling schedule, typically within 30 days of deletion

Deletion time

Banana Apps does not promise a deletion time SLA today. within 30 days of a verified request If the Edge Function partially fails, support may be required to resolve the request.

Subscriptions

The current app has no subscriptions or in-app purchases, so there is nothing to cancel. If a future release adds a subscription, cancellation instructions will be added to this page.
