Military Veteran Help — Health & Safety
This page explains the wellness scope of Military Veteran Help, its limits, and where to get real help. Military Veteran Help is an independent tool from Banana Apps LLC and is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Wellness tools and self-checks
The app includes journals, mood/symptom/trigger/sleep logs, breathing and grounding sessions, gratitude and values entries, and self-checks. These are private, local-first tools for personal reflection. Eligible records sync only when you explicitly enable Help+ and are never posted to Community automatically.
Community is peer support, not professional care
Community posts and comments are personal member experiences. Military service, professional credentials, and accuracy are not verified. Community is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, claims, VA, or crisis advice.
Use Report, Block, or Mute for unsafe content. The Community is not continuously monitored and cannot replace emergency or crisis services.
Self-checks are for personal reflection only
Self-check results are not a diagnosis, screening determination, treatment, or clinical assessment. They do not replace evaluation by a licensed clinician.
No diagnosis, treatment, or monitoring
Military Veteran Help does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or monitor any medical or mental-health condition. It does not communicate with clinicians, alert a care team, or perform medical monitoring.
Medication references
Medication references, reminders, and dose logs are user-entered reference data. They are not prescribing, dispensing, or pharmacist guidance. Always confirm dosing, interactions, and changes with a licensed clinician or pharmacist.
Benefits and claims education
Benefits explanations, claims tools, transition tools, and checklists are general educational information. Eligibility, evidence standards, and procedures change. Confirm anything material with the VA or an accredited representative before acting.
Verify with official sources
Bundled content and resource links may become outdated. Verify current facts through official U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs channels (va.gov) and qualified professionals.
Not an emergency service
Military Veteran Help cannot detect a crisis, dispatch emergency services, or notify anyone on your behalf. Do not rely on it for urgent or emergency situations.
